Robert Lewandowski has outdone himself once more. Against SC Freiburg on Matchday 16, the Pole scored his 21st goal of the season and we've not even reached the halfway mark yet! A new record never achieved before in the Bundesliga. Yet another record for Bayern's star goalscorer, who beats Gerd Müller record of 20 goals, which came in the first half of the 1968/69 campaign. But Müller is still the record holder for most goals in a season - "Der Bomber" scored 40 in the 1971/72 season. Lewandowski is well on course to beat that with 21 goals so far.
