The DP World Tour heads to the Netherlands this week for the KLM Open, one of the longest standing events having stood on the Tour since its inception in 1972. Defending champion Victor Perez makes his return to Bernardus Golf after defeating Ryan Fox in a fourth playoff hole to snatch glory last year. The Frenchman is in fine form after his best ever major finish of T12 at the 2023 PGA Championship last week. Already a two-time winner this season, Adrian Meronk will fancy his chances after coming into the tournament the highest rated player and finishing just one stroke off the lead last year. Jayden Schaper has a look-in as well after a series of consistent performances that include a top ten at the Magical Kenya Open, a tie for 13th at the Hero Indian Open and two further top 20s at the Thailand Classic and Jonsson Workwear Open. An in-form Simon Forrström will also be confident after winning the Soudal Open two weeks ago. The field all have their eyes on U.S Open qualifying spots and Ryder Cup debuts, so this age-old event could throw up some twists.
