Derick Hall was born four months premature without a heartbeat, a bleed in his brain and weighing only two pounds. Told by doctor’s that he would never walk or talk, his mother was faced with a difficult decision. She refused to sign a Do Not Resuscitate form and instead fought for her son’s life. Now, he is headed to the NFL with the Seattle Seahawks.
