Even Max Verstappen was happy to admit his Japanese GP pole lap was a "very special one" as he and Red Bull stunned, well, just about everyone in F1.

McLaren topped every single session at Suzuka until the one that mattered, when Verstappen stole in to beat Lando Norris by 0.012s.
