This range drill is perfect if you struggle with early extension or keep finding the hosel with your irons. By setting up with the ball off the heel and swinging to miss it on the inside, you learn how to keep the club working on a better path. Then, using the same setup, striking the ball off the toe trains you to return the club to the center of the face. This helps you find the sweet spot again and produces much cleaner contact.
