In this video Kendall Troutman shares her experience as a parent new to the world of ice sports and how she’s working to create a more inclusive, diverse, and welcoming hockey community.
Kendall created 24 Degrees of Color, a community program in Los Angeles that aims to diversify kids’ ice hockey. Together with Blake Bolden of The NHL’s Player Inclusion Coalition, they collaborated to create this cultural community hockey program in Detroit that welcomed kids from LA and Cleveland.
