Four specific changes have been revealed for the 2023 Formula 1 season as the FIA continues its fight to outlaw floor tricks and combat the porpoising phenomenon of the new ground-effect cars.
F1’s governing body fears that porpoising and bottoming out will only get worse next year if left unaddressed and has now settled on specific ideas to help ensure that doesn’t happen.
In addition, it is pushing ahead with planned in-season changes for 2022 that have annoyed Red Bull and Ferrari so much - although this has been delayed, for reasons we’ll also cover in this video.
