The radio ban coming after outbursts in F1 finale

Formula 1 could ban team bosses from talking directly with the race director during sessions following the controversy around the finish of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and the world championship.
Red Bull’s Christian Horner and Mercedes’ Toto Wolff lobbying of Michael Masi in the closing stages of the race, when the world championship was on the line between Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen, has been strongly criticised and it appears change is in the offing.
As we explain in this video, unhelpful radio communication isn’t the only thing that needs tidying up from what went on in Abu Dhabi, but it’s one of a number of things that could have helped the conclusion of the F1 season run smoother.
