After an absence from the European Tour calendar in 2020 due to COVID-19, the Dutch Open makes a welcome return this week. Two-time winner of the tournament Joost Luiten will be hoping to improve on his T35 finish in last week’s BMW PGA Championship when he takes to Bernardus Golf Course, which will host the event for the first time in its history. 2015 winner Thomas Pieters will look to add to his four wins on the European Tour, alongside fellow-Belgian Thomas Detry who will be hoping to win his first European Tour title after narrowly missing out in a playoff at the abrdn Scottish Open in July.
