In normal circumstances, once a Bundesliga striker is round the keeper, a goal is all but a certainty. But in reality, even an open goal doesn’t rule out the possibility of a miss - as 1. FC Köln’s Dominick Drexler discovered to his dismay on Matchday 23. The striker had already left Manuel Neuer in his wake but was unable to find the net from a tight angle. By way of consolation, Drexler is by no means alone and now takes his place in our Top 10 Misses since 2010 alongside greats of the game such as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and James Rodriguez.
