Great race! Fakir D'Oudairies (9/4f) managed to see off the Two For Gold from the Kim Bailey yard to win the Grade 1 Betfair Ascot Chase! The Irish raider was given a patient ride by jockey Mark Walsh, before running down the tough Two For Gold and David Bass.
On future plans for Joseph O'Brien's 7-year-old, jockey Mark Walsh told Sky Sports Racing, "if he doesn't go to Cheltenham I presume he'd be going to Aintree for the Melling Chase."
