With Tunnel Visions’ King of the Street number 6 scheduled for the following day, a private test day beforehand gave a great opportunity for competitors to test for the event plus others to take advantage of what is an increasingly stickier track at Heathcote Park Raceway.

Vince Riccotti’s WILDTC Ford Cortina is a well known car in Melbourne. The Tunnel Vision prepped Ford in-tech single overhead cam 6 cylinder ran well all day with Vince running his first 8-second pass with an 8.98 at 155mph.
Adam Rogash’s ALLSHOW LS powered VK Commodore came out first pass and ran what looked to be an easy 7-second pass indicating the track was going to result in some quick times for the day.
Nik Hatzis’s HQ747 Kingswood runs an iron 5.3 LS. Sounding strong all day, he ran an 8.84at 155mph.
Another tough single cam Ford is Louis’s ED XR6. Always consistent, Louis ran high 8s.
We recently filmed James wild 1700hp RB VL BT1. James was out for his first test of the air shifted transmission. Although not completing a full pass yet, it’s shown it’s going to run some very quick numbers.
Zlats Barra Mustang is another car we’ve recently featured. With the new combo on the track, Zlat’s car ran flawlessly with a best of 8.65 at 160mph.
One of the event organisers, John Calaidis small block turbo Ford ran very consistent low 8s all day
Ali’s single cam Ford was running strong all day, 15 passes and most were in the 9s.
Waynes AIR4C1 HQ was back with a new LMS rear end to house 315X tyres, and a smaller turbo and immediately improved to an 8.31 at 166mph.
John Ricca’s freshly rebuilt VL Commodore has dropped the 7-second RB for a turbo turbo LS. With a lot still to sort, that didn't stop John running a flat 8 after only a handful of passes.
