VERRY ELLEEGANT WINS THE MELBOURNE CUP

It was Verry Elleegant who stole the show in the Melbourne Cup at Flemington Racecourse, providing both trainer Chris Waller and jockey James McDonald with their first wins in the race.

The superstar mare held off the field which included Incentivise, Spanish Mission, Twilight Payment and Grand Promenade to win the race that stops the nation.
