Silverstone is no stranger to thrilling starts, having kicked-off the Formula One World Championship in 1950, but 2023’s edition was a blockbuster: after Lando Norris, in a resurgent McLaren, rocketed off the front row and passed polesitter Max Verstappen for the lead into turn one.

But, it was a short cameo at the front after the reigning World Champion dispatched Norris on lap five, and then cemented his lead with a lap 33 pit stop under the safety car. Watch the video, and tell us what you think in the comments…
