On Thursday, Aug. 3 in a 91-71 win against the Atlanta Dream, Taurasi scored 42 points and became the first player in WNBA history to score 10,000 career points, helping her notch her first Player of the Week honors this season. Taurasi averaged 33 PPG, 4.3 RPG and 2.3 APG in week 10, leading Phoenix to an 1-2 record.
