F1 reprised traditions in 2022, with Spain’s Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya again a pre-season host - of the opening three-day test, giving the fans their first look at the new era cars running together in anger.

The new challengers use ground effect aerodynamics, which direct the turbulent or “dirty” air skyward, and not at the chasing car that has in the past destroyed a driver’s ability to close up and pass. Watch the video, and tell us what you think in the comments…
