The Piutau brothers join the couch with Ra and John to chat about their incredible rugby journeys. They discuss playing together in the UK, their decision to leave New Zealand, and much more.
Charles and Siale Piutau are brothers from New Zealand who have made significant contributions to rugby, both domestically and internationally. Charles Piutau is a highly skilled outside back who has played for the All Blacks and several professional clubs worldwide. He made his debut for the All Blacks in 2013 and earned 17 caps. Known for his powerful running, agility, and ability to break tackles, Charles later played for European clubs, including Ulster and Bristol Bears. In 2022, he made a switch to represent Tonga at the international level, taking advantage of World Rugby’s eligibility rules. He is widely regarded as one of the best fullbacks in world rugby during his prime.
Siale Piutau is an experienced centre who has represented Tonga at the international level. He played Super Rugby in New Zealand before moving abroad, with stints in Japan and the UK.
