Alpine’s warring F1 drivers Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly had a dramatic collision in the Monaco Grand Prix that sparked outrage from team principal Bruno Famin, who threatened more consequences for Ocon, who was to blame.
It happened before, it’s inevitably happened again, and that means there’s only way F1’s most untenable driver line-up goes from here: it has to end.
It’s not the first time they’ve clashed as team-mates and unless Alpine punishes Ocon so severely he never drives for the team again, there’s a very good chance it won’t be the last.
