With multiple wins to his name during the Dubai World Cup Carnival and Royal Ascot, Blue Point is one of the most exciting sprinters the world of horse racing has witnessed in recent years.
Boasting four Group 1 wins on the world stage, the son of Darley Stallions' Shamardal won the 2018 King's Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot Racecourse, the 2019 Al Quoz Sprint at the Dubai World Cup (Meydan Racecourse) before winning the 2019 King's Stand Stakes and 2019 Diamond Jubilee Stakes in the same week, just the third horse to complete a famous Royal Ascot double.
He also placed in the 2018 Coolmore Nunthorpe Stakes, the 2017 Commonwealth Cup behind Caravaggio and Harry Angel, to go with a third behind Churchill in the 2016 Dubai Dewhurst Stakes plus a second in the Juddmonte Middle Park Stakes and a fourth in the 2017 32Red Sprint Cup Stakes.
But there's a new kid on the block - Is Pinatubo (Shamardal) the heir apparent for Sheikh Mohammed's Godolphin operation?
