'Disappearing' Lionel Messi is just not giving enough to Barcelona - Laurens | ESPN FC

ESPN FC's Gab Marcotti and Julien Laurens (The Gab and Juls Show) analyse Barcelona's important 2-1 win against La Liga title chasers Real Sociedad. Despite starting well, Ronald Koeman's Barcelona conceded early to a Willian Jose goal. However, the Catalan club recovered thanks to goals from Jordi Alba and Frankie De Jong. Marcotti questions Koeman's formation in the game and Laurens believes Barcelona may have lost the game after some questionable substitutions from the Barca manager. Lionel Messi finished the game again without any goals or assists for the team and Laurens believes there has to be a bigger issue at the club. Laurens questions the Argentinian's fitness, age and effort and believes his current performances are not good enough for the club.
