This is how far the MLB Europe Bases Covered team have got to hit the ball at HDRX in London for a homer. And that’s with us bringing in the main event boundary line! ???? (You’re welcome, guys.)

It’s day 3 of coaching in Germany, and time for Max, Jemel, Aimee and Paul to test their newly acquired skills against some of Europe’s finest as they’re dropped into their FIRST GAME. But don’t panic, they have extra help from baseball pros who know the secrets of the field.

Here is the SURPRISE: at the end of this episode, team Max and team Jemel are going to get bigger! Now we are almost ready for the FTX MLB Home Run Derby X!

MLB Bases Covered is back with a new series: The Showdown. MLB Europe’s Max and Jemel have just four days training to become HOME RUNS HITTING MACHINES before they open the FTX MLB Home Run Derby X London stage on July 9. Former Olympic snowboarder Aimee Fuller and content creator Paul Olima join them in a mix of fun challenges and gruelling training to get them ready as they kick off their challenge.

Will our heroes live up to expectations, or will they flop in front of thousands of baseball fans in London? THE SHOWDOWN IS ON!
