ESPN FC’s Kay Murray and Shaka Hislop ask why Lionel Messi started Barcelona’s 5-2 victory over Real Betis in La Liga on the bench with the Argentine superstar “changing the game” when he was introduced in the second half, according to Hislop. Hislop also says he felt sorry for Antoine Griezmann in the first half after he missed a penalty, but Messi’s introduction provided the confidence boost he and the team needed.
