The DP World Tour arrives in Asia this week for the Porsche Singapore Classic at Laguna National Golf Resort Club. Ockie Strydom returns after storming to a second DP World Tour title in six starts at the last year’s Singapore Classic. The 38-year-old has claimed a string of decent results so far this season. He finished tied fourth in Bahrain which was followed by a tie for 16th in Qatar and a tie for 31st at the SDC Championship three weeks ago. Shane Lowry will also be in Singapore this week. The 2019 Open Champion arrives in the Far East with confidence after a 19T finish at THE PLAYERS Championship last week, including a near hole-in-one on the iconic 17th hole at TPC Sawgrass. As a result of the finish, has risen back inside the top-50 on the Official World Golf Ranking and will be hoping to mount a challenge for a seventh DP World Tour title this week. Rasmus Højgaard will also be in the field this week. He’s had a strong start to the season with five top-12’s including a 2T at the Ras Al Khaimah Championship in January. Others to look out for are Rikuya Hoshino, Matthieu Pavon and Yannik Paul.
