Ahead of the Cazoo Classic this week, Cazoo surprised an unsuspecting competition winner with a spot in the Pro-Am alongside four-time DP World Tour winner, Andy Sullivan.

Chris McHugh thought he had won a clinic with a player on the Wednesday of this week’s Cazoo Classic but was greeted with quite the surprise when he arrived on site at Hillside Golf Club at 07:00.

However, instead of the clinic, Cazoo had arranged a better way for Chris to enjoy the day - inside the ropes actually playing in the Pro-Am.

The UK swing continues this week as the DP World Tour heads to Hillside Golf Club in Southport for the 2022 Cazoo Classic. Dane Thorbjørn Olesen has already tasted victory on tour this year, winning the Betfred British Masters in May and will be hoping that this good form will see him remain in contention come Sunday. After an impressive fourth round that saw him shoot 68 at The Open, Robert MacIntyre heads to the Cazoo Classic as one of the favourites, but will have to overcome fellow Scot and 2022 Commercial Bank Qatar Masters winner Ewan Ferguson and Joburg Open defending champion Thriston Lawrence.
