The Baseball Bat Bros bring you the final showdown of the ultra light-swinging one-piece alloy + composite end cap BBCOR bats of 2020.

These bats share the same design: a full one-piece aluminum bat until the last 10% of the barrel/end cap - which is composite. This allows for a more balanced, light-swinging bat.
We recommend these types of bats for contact hitters, younger BBCOR hitters, or players trying to better catch up to fast pitching.
Because the end of these bats is made of a lighter composite material, it sacrifices the bat’s endload - so don’t plan on any of these bats getting you too many home runs this year.
These bats are meant for the same type of player that composite bats are made for - but the main difference in function between these bats and composite bats, is that composite bats are generally going to have a much bigger sweet spot and provide plenty of flex in the handle - hence the higher price tag.

Victus Vandal (Will’s pick):
-Ultra Balanced
-Alloy handle/barrel
-Composite on the last 1/10th of the bat
-Zero Flex
-Loud ping
-Impressive sweet spot
-Thicker grip/handle
-Essentially a lighter-swinging Cat8
-$350

Rawlings Velo ACP
-Ultra Balanced
-Alloy handle/barrel
-Composite on the last 1/10th of the bat
-Zero Flex
-The Pingiest Bat in the Universe
-Pretty small sweet spot
-Thin grip/handle
-$350

Louisville Slugger Solo (John’s pick):
-Ultra Balanced
-Alloy handle/barrel
-Composite on the last 1/10th of the bat
-Zero Flex
-Loud ping
-Small sweet spot, but surprisingly good pop
-Thin grip/handle
-$300
