QUATRO PRO vs VELO ACP - Showdown of the Lightest BBCOR Bats - Rawlings BBCOR Baseball Bat Review

The Baseball Bat Bros try out two of the lightest swinging BBCOR bats in the game: the Rawlings Quatro Pro and the Rawlings Velo ACP.

These bats are going to be best suited for contact hitters and younger BBCOR players. If you're looking to hit the ball out of the yard, these bats probably aren't for you. But if you're looking to catch up to fast pitching and maximize bat control - it doesn't get much better than these two bats.
We recommend these bats exclusively for younger/new BBCOR hitters as well as true 'contact hitters' facing faster pitching. If you don't fall into one of those categories, we have plenty of other videos/reccos for you!

The Quatro Pro is a 2-piece composite bat (they say 4-piece, but in everyone else's terms, it's a 2-piece). And it's probably the single lightest BBCOR bat out there - and it has a huge sweet spot (which is a pretty rare combo - hence the $450 price tag). It honestly feels a lot like swinging a dampened-down drop-5!

The Velo ACP is a non-traditional 2-piece: All aluminum until the last 2 or 3 inches of the end of the bat - then it transitions to composite so the bat swings much lighter/balanced. Also going to be one of the lightest bats out there - a really similar bat to the Louisville Slugger Solo and the Victus Vandal.
