If you've ever looked at a Formula 1 car up close, you'll notice that the bodywork isn't as rigid as you may think. Thanks to aeroelasticity, F1 cars since the late 90s have made use of this flexibility to create what is known as "Flexi-Wings", with instances of this cropping up multiple times over the last 2 decades.

As always with this series, the FIA aren't a fan of these flexible wings, so we're taking a closer look at the many ways F1 teams have made use of flexible bodyparts, and how the FIA have put a stop to the practise... kind of.
