In Wisconsin Drag Racing does not stop when the snow flies. We have plenty of racing events in the snow and ice and one of them that I think is super interesting is this Keyes Peak Uphill Truck Drags that happens every year at the Keyes Peak Ski Hill in Florence, Wisconsin. It is in March so all the summertime Mud Trucks are getting ready for some action coming up in the next few months so it is good testing of the vehicles in this drag race going one of the ski hills they have here.
In this event they do have a style of Christmas tree light that you cannot see at the angle of where I was shooting the video but that is how they are starting and the big flags on the side of the track up by the top of the hill is where the finish line is. And to be honest I really was not keeping track of who was winning or losing in this event, I was just having fun shooting video. And besides I could not hear the announcer very well at all and when the trucks were blasting up there it usually was a white out of snow flying around. What a great time, I hope you enjoy the video!
