HITTING WITH THE JAW BAT - Maple i13 Custom - Wood Baseball Bat Reviews

E-Commerce Solutions SEO Solutions Marketing Solutions
The Baseball Bat Bros swing one of JT's favorite wood bats: the Jaw Bat.

Jaw Bat JB13 Maple:
-Significant endload - typical for a big-barreled maple bat - but not quite as much of a log as some other large-barreled maple bats. Still reasonably easy to get though the zone.
-Great pop/carry distance
-For a wood bat this had a really solid sweet spot
-Not much love on mishits - pretty typical for pure wood bats (as opposed to wood composite).
-Loud crack - more of a mild crack on balls towards the end of the bat
-Expensive - $150 to $180

The benefit of getting a maple like this as opposed to a wood composite is that a really high-quality maple bat is going to get you the most power that a wood bat can get you. If you square it up, the ball will travel as far if not farther than metal BBCOR bats. However, these are going to break much faster than wood composite bats, and they won't perform as well on mishits. As a general rule of thumb, we recommend a high quality maple like this for stronger power hitters in high-level wood bat leagues.

By supporting us, you'll help us:
1) Buy new baseballs! We lose tons of baseballs during the videos from foul balls, dingers, and kids that steal them - and we use nice game balls so they're like $5 a pop. Each dozen costs about $60 and with your support we can buy new baseballs every month.
2) Buy bats! We get a lot of our bats for free, but sometimes companies just deny us when we reach out to them, so we have to buy the bat if we're gonna review it. And we want to be able to review every bat out there for you guys! Even with companies that have sent us a free bat in the past, sometimes they don't like our brutal honesty and they won't send us bats anymore - and we could use your support to help us buy those bats. Again - we do this for the PEOPLE - not the bat companies.
3) Hire professional hitters to be in our videos!
4) Pay for operating costs like our website, camera equipment, etc.
