The Baseball Bat Bros try out two budget-friendly 2020 BBCOR one-piece alloy bats - the Easton Alpha 360 and the Rawlings 5150.

Coming in right around the $200 range, these are gonna be some of the best 'bang for your buck' options. While these won't combine sweet spot/pop/swing weight like some more expensive options (The Goods, Bonesaber, Meta) you can still do some SERIOUS damage with a good swing and a solid one-piece alloy.

Easton Alpha 360:
-Pretty balanced and light swinging - surprising for a one-piece alloy. But we'll be reviewing the ALPHA 360 XL pretty soon here - a more endloaded version of the Alpha.
-1 piece alloy
-Stiff/Zero Flex
-Variable sound - crack towards the end of the bat, and a ping towards the hands.
-Relatively small sweet spot, but not too much hand sting either
-Impressive performance towards the end of the bat, not as great performance on mishits towards the hands.
-Pop was pretty middle of the road for a one-piece alloy.
-Great Grip
-$200

Rawlings 5150:
-Pretty endloaded - similar to the 33 Omaha
-1 piece alloy
-Stiff/Zero Flex
-LOUD ping all across the barrel
-A large sweet spot - similar feel to the Cat8
-Really solid pop all across the barrel
-Really thin grip, but an awkwardly large knob - we tapered the handle with athletic tape though and it felt great.
-$180 to $250 depending where you get it

BAT BRO SCALE DETAILS:
Bottom line: due to BBCOR restrictions, THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A PERFECT BAT. Between power, sweet spot, and swing weight, every bat is going to have to compromise in at least 1 area.
Scoring scale:
8 or lower: not a fan.
9: average, middle of the pack.
10: solid bat, above average - Bat Bro approved.
11: one of the best bats in its category and one of the best overall bats of the year
