Join me (and Peanut!) for this full length 15-minute lower body workout (with an extra emphasis on the hips and glutes) that you can do in a small space, with no equipment (all you’ll need is a sturdy chair or countertop to hold on to for balance). While you cannot spot reduce, these exercises help develop muscular endurance, functional range of motion, balance and joint stability which can help your performance both in and out of the gym. These high rep, concentrated movements made a great addition to a well-rounded strength training plan that works the entire body evenly with a mix of both heavy and light weight training balancing various strength training formats and exercises.
Equipment: A Sturdy, High Back Chair (or Countertop) for balance
Intensity: Moderate
