Nick Pate benefited from a slow rack in the fifth frame, but Kyle Troup escaped with victory with the help of a big strike in the ninth frame. Bill O'Neill also had an important ninth frame in eliminating AJ Johnson. Brad Miller fought back from an early deficit against Jesper Svensson and was able to earn the victory in the 10th. Tom Smallwood made a ball change after a fortunate strike in the fifth, then rolled five more strikes to come back against EJ Tackett.
