The Baseball Bat Bros try out two of the best power hitter BBCOR bats in the game: the endloaded alloy barrels of the Louisville Slugger Select Pwr and the DeMarini The Goods 2-piece.

These are some of the most frequent bats you'll see used in high-level college baseball. Not many BBCORs can hit a ball further than these two bats, but the trade-off is a much heavier-swinging stick.

The DeMarini The Goods 2-piece has TAKEN OFF this year and is in the discussion for the best alloy bat of 2020 if not the best overall BBCOR of 2020. I haven't found a single retailer lately that has this bat in stock. It was hard enough for us to get one.

The Select Pwr is a continuation of the former Select 71_ line - which I feel has always been underrated - these bats hit nukes. This is one of the most frequent bats you'll see in the middle of college baseball lineups.

Louisville Slugger Select Pwr (formerly known as the 719, 718, 716):
-Endloaded
-Composite Handle
-Alloy Barrel
-Stiff Flex
-Mild/quiet Pingy Sound (kind of depends where you hit it on the barrel - almost a crack at times)
-Huge Sweet Spot
-Great Grip
-Pretty spendy though - $400

DeMarini The Goods (basically a stiff-swinging Voodoo Insane):
-Endloaded
-Composite Handle
-Alloy Barrel
-Stiff Flex
-Moderate Pingy Sound
-Huge Sweet Spot
-Great Grip
-$350

At the end of the day, these bats were almost identical.
