The Baseball Bat Bros couldn't figure out if we preferred the Lousiville Slugger Meta Pwr or the DeMarini The Goods.
Well there's only one way to find out...HOME RUN DERBY TIME!!
Obviously this wasn't a true/perfect HR derby format - but we just wanted to get a solid round of daddy-hack BP to see which one was the best at hitting dingers.
DeMarini The Goods:
-Endloaded
-Composite Handle
-Alloy Barrel
-Stiff Flex
-Moderate Pingy Sound
-Mega Sweet Spot
-Very solid grip (better than the DeMarini grips over the past couple years)
-$350
Louisville Slugger Meta PWR:
-Endloaded - but probably a tad less than the Goods
-Composite Handle
-Composite Barrel
-Stiff Flex
-More of a 'bonk' or thud/echo sound
-Mega Sweet Spot
-Very solid Lizard Skin grip
-$500

By supporting us, you'll help us:
1) Buy new baseballs! We lose tons of baseballs during the videos from foul balls, dingers, and kids that steal them - and we use nice game balls so they're like $5 a pop. Each dozen costs about $60 and with your support we can buy new baseballs every month.
2) Buy bats! We get a lot of our bats for free, but sometimes companies just deny us when we reach out to them, so we have to buy the bat if we're gonna review it. And we want to be able to review every bat out there for you guys! Even with companies that have sent us a free bat in the past, sometimes they don't like our brutal honesty and they won't send us bats anymore - and we could use your support to help us buy those bats. Again - we do this for the PEOPLE - not the bat companies.
3) Hire professional hitters to be in our videos!
4) Pay for operating costs like our website, camera equipment, etc.
*NCAA/Legal Disclaimer: John Taylor and any other guest appearance hitters are simply volunteers and will not/have not been financially compensated and have not received special benefits (i.e. gear they get to keep for themselves) for their appearances in these videos.
